Anushka is an actress as well as a producer in Bollywood. She is the highest paid actor in the industry and has been awarded for her performance. She is also the ambassador for various companies and also has her own clothing line for women which is called Nush. She has also made her appearance prominently in Forbes Magazine. Anushka Sharma, born May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh was the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father, an ex-colonel, is Anushka. Her mother is a homemaker. Karnesh Sharma, Anushka's elder brother, served as an Merchant Navy officer and is currently a movie producer. Anushka Sharma completed her schooling at the Army School, Bangalore and has pursued the Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka has a Masters of Arts Degree in the field of Economics. Anushka would like to be an actor or journalist, not an actor. Anushka enrolled in Elite Model Management after graduating and underwent training by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka was picked by Wendell Rodricks as the final model for his Les Vamps Show, which took place at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Anushka, since making her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has been featured in ads for brands like Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka started auditioning films as an actor and attended an acting class alongside her career as model. Anushka sharma began her film career in 2008, playing Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The film was a collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan. In her screen test she refused to perform the test in a hurry and instead spent one day to get ready. After that, she was signed to three movies under the Yash Raj Films banner. She played a younger wife to an actor of middle age (Shah Rukh Khan) in the movie. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed along with Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The film was met with mixed receptions. Anushka played a role in a film known as Band Baaja Baraat starring Ranveer, where she played a Punjabi-American girl of middle class, who establishes her wedding planning company. This movie was well received and was a huge success. The contract of Anushka's for three films with Yash Raj Films was completed by Band Baaja Baaraat.
